FAQ

Yes, AU is authorized by EASA, DGCA and GCAA to conduct the Part-66 and CAR-66 for our full-time students and external candidates.

Anyone can register for the examinations as long as they are not disqualified from any of the examinations.

Initial examination is free for AU students and student will be charged 50KD for the subsequent examinations.

All external candidates are required to pay 30KD for registration (once) and 75KD per module examination.

  • Yes, for single paper modules such as Module 1, Module 2 and Module 3.

  • No, for modules with MCQ and Essay(s) such as Module 7, Module 9 and Module 10. We only accept candidates that apply for both MCQ and Essay(s) and do not accept partial requests. If you have passed part of the paper in another organization, you are required to retake both MCQ and Essays in AU.

Candidates who fail the Part-66 and CAR-66 examination are only allowed to retake failed module after 90 days. Each module come with a set of three attempts, if you fail all three attempts, a waiting period of 12 months must be completed.

We do offer Examination only.

No. If you have been disqualified from taking any DGCA-EASA- GCAA examinations, you have to wait until the suspension is over. Any examinations done during this period is invalid and any issued certificate of recognitions is also invalid.

Yes, external candidates can take all GCAA modules in AU except for Module 10 Aviation Legislation. GCAA Module 10 examination can only be conducted by Emirates Engineering Training College in U.A.E as per INFORMATION BULLETIN 2021-14.

  • AU Current – All initial exams will be registered by Admin. Please contact Admin for more details. For re-examination, use the same AU credentials (username and password) to access the dashboard

  • AU Graduate – Register using the AU Graduate Form

  • External – Register using the Non-AU Candidate Form (Guest)

The priority is given to the candidates that have completed the application and made full payment before the examination. If the slots are fully booked, you have to request for the next available slots.

Our Admin will check your eligibility to sit for the examination. Once approved, you will receive an email to continue with the payment.

Payment can be made via K-Net, Visa and Mastercard through our online portal.

Yes, any cancellation done 48 working hours before the examination is entitled for a refund. However, all request for cancellation is subject to Admin’s approval.

Any request for refund for DNS (Did Not Show) is subject to approval and case by case basis.

All fees paid will automatically go to your Account Balance in your dashboard. You can use the amount to pay for the next examination. If you want the amount to be credited to your bank, please contact our Admin.

You will get the results once published. You will also receive email notification and can also view your dashboard for the results.

You can request for issuance of the CORs by sending an email to avadmin@au.edu.kw. Issuance of CORs will only be done on Thursdays.
